The Nigerian Football Association obviously lied about the sending home of the Egyptian referee Grisha Ghead who gave a dubious penalty to the Zambian team in the secong group C game with Nigeria.
As against the release by the director of media Demola Olajire earlier this week claiming that Ghead had been punished by Confederation Of Africa Football (CAF) for his poor officiating of the game, but to my surprise, the fourth official in Wednesday’s Group D game between Algeria and Cote D’Ivoire in Rustenburg was Grisha Ghead.
Now the question is, why did they lie? To blame the ref for the Super Eagles poor showing? Why will Emmanuel Eboue or whoever is handling his twitter handle(@therealeboue) not diss us the way he did yesterday when we do things like layman will do.
