Egyptian referee Gisha Hgead, who officiated the group C second match between Zambia and Nigeria is expected to be expelled by the Confederation Of Africa Football (CAF) from the on going Africa Cup Of Nations currently holding in South Africa as a result of the controversial penalty he awarded to the Chi polo polo of Zambia which ended in a 1-1 draw.
This is coming after a complaint to CAF by the Nigeria Football Association and i learnt that CAF president Issa Hayatou has assured Nigeria’s minister of sport, Bolaji Abdullahi that prompt action has been taken against the referee and that the official will be sent home.
