Egyptian Referee Who Officiated The Match Between Nigeria & Zambia Still in AFCON


The Nigerian Football Association obviously lied about the sending home of the Egyptian referee Grisha Ghead who gave a dubious penalty to the Zambian team in the secong group C game with Nigeria.

As against the  release by the director of media Demola Olajire earlier this week claiming that Ghead had been punished by Confederation Of Africa Football (CAF) for his poor officiating of the game, but to my surprise, the fourth official in Wednesday’s Group D game between Algeria and Cote D’Ivoire in Rustenburg was Grisha Ghead. 

Now the question is, why did they lie? To blame the ref for the Super Eagles poor showing? Why will Emmanuel Eboue or whoever is handling his twitter handle(@therealeboue) not diss us the way he did yesterday when we do things like layman will do.

This is too insulting to believe i must confess, i read it and i find it hard to believe these are words of the formal Arsenal player and Ivory Coast international, if it is, he's definitely asking for war come Sunday 3rd of February, 2013 when Ivory Coast and Nigeria will take to the field for the quarter final game in the Africa Nations Cup on going in South Africa. Pension Fund Thief Rearrested By EFCC


Following public outcry against the light judgement passed by a Federal Capital Territory High Court as regards the case against the Director in the Police Pension Fund, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has rearrested Mr John Yakubu Yusuf who connived with others in defrauding the Police Pension Office and Pensioners of N27.2billion.

You all will recall that he was freed with the outrageous fine of N750,000 by Justice Mohammed Talba who presided over the case, this time around we all hope that the deserved punishment will be mete out to him and others who have no human sympathy to the pensioners.

Mr John Yusuf, who is the formal head of police pension board was today sentenced to 2 years imprisonment for embezzling N2billion police pension funds after he pleaded guilty to the charges.

Preposterously, he has an option of paying N750thousand fine and forfeiting property worth N350million. Na wa oooo, i wont say more than that cos i no fit go court, but i cover my eyes with shame just like the dude as if sey na me thief money, lol...

Victim Of The 3rd Mainland Crash On Saturday Recounts his experience


On Saturday morning we all got the news about Olusola Oladimeji, driver of the Toyota Sienna that plunges into the lagoon, thank fully he's alive to share with us his experience.

I work on the island and I left home for a meeting in the early hours of Saturday. After the monthly environmental sanitation, I started driving back home. “I was driving at the speed of 60km/hr and was on the fast lane because the road was free. At Ebute Meta bypass, I saw two vehicles that had been involved in an accident but I kept on driving. Suddenly, everything went blank, I couldn’t see anything again, and I just found myself in the water.

I was not on high speed. When the car hit the railing of the bridge, the airbag was not released.

After falling into the water, I unfastened the seat belt and noticed that one of the doors of my car had broken off, so I swam out of the vehicle to the surface of the water even though I don’t know how to swim.

It was while I was waving my hand that fishermen saw me and quickly came to my aid. They took me away from the scene and took me to a clinic located on the water where they administered the first aid.

I learnt he is a minister of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church, hmmm, how awesome the Lord is, this is definitely his doing.

I brought you a report concerning the Egyptian referee who awarded a rather dubious and controversial penalty to the chipolopolo of Zambia in the second Group C game against Nigeria, well reports emanating from CAF now has it that the referee has been told to go home.

Confirming this latest and i must say good development, a to CAF official said and i quote 'he has been sent home. He will have no further action at this Cup of Nations. His decisions did not tally with best practices of the refereeing profession and we would not allow anyone to start re-writing the rules of the game here'

Yeepee!!! i am so glad about that.

Grisha Ghead Who Officiated Zambia Vs Nigeria Match To Be Expelled From Afcon


Egyptian referee Gisha Hgead, who officiated the group C second match between Zambia and Nigeria is expected to be expelled by the Confederation Of Africa Football (CAF) from the on going Africa Cup Of Nations currently holding in South Africa as a result of the controversial penalty he awarded to the Chi polo polo of Zambia which ended in a 1-1 draw.

This is coming after a complaint to CAF by the Nigeria Football Association and i learnt that CAF president Issa Hayatou has assured Nigeria’s minister of sport, Bolaji Abdullahi that prompt action has been taken against the referee and that the official will be sent home.

Sienna Plunges Into 3rd Mainland Bridge, Victim Alive.


A gold-coloured Toyota Sienna with number-plate, EKY974BB, veered off the bridge and plunged into the lagoon on Saturday morning.

Mr Shola Oladimeji, 53, who was said to be driving the SUV and the only occupant is alive with the help of a fishermen who rushed to the spot immediately it plunged to the lagoon , broke the glass of the car and rescued the driver, then after a boat belonging to the Lagos State Water Authority removed the vehicle from the water while a towing vehicle on the bridge pulled it to the surface.

 MEND Leader Henry Okah Found Guilty For Terrorism



Earlier this morning, the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) leader Henry Okah has been found guilty of terrorism charges by a Johannesburg Magistrate's Court in South Africa.

Okah has been facing terrorism related trial for months following the Independence Day bombings in Abuja on October 1 2010. He will be sentenced on a later date.

Son Of Jigawa State Governor Arrested For Man Slaughter, Weeks After been caught With $50,000



You will recall late last year when Aminu Sule, the son of Sule Lamido, the Jigawa state Governor was arrested at the Aminu Kano International Airport for money laundering and later granted bail, well he has fuond himself in another trouble.

Reports now has it that the police in Kano has confirmed the arrest of  Aminu Sule, the son of Jigawa state governor for allegedly crushing down a middle aged man.
