In an unusual and more relaxed game to watch for the ardent Super Eagles fans in more than a decade, the recently assembled Nigerian team defeated the Eagles(not super) 4-1 in the first semi final of the African Nations Cup to qualify for the final game against Burkina Faso
Goals from Elderson Echiejile, Brown Ideye, Emenike and Musa gave joy to many fans all across the Nation and ensured that Nigeria qualified for the final of the tournament coming up on Sunday against Burkina Faso who beat the black stars of Ghana 3-2 via penalty shootout after extra time.
I just can't imagine what joy the whole Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora will experience if the Super Eagles eventually gets to win the cup. Les see how it goes on Sunday, but however it is, kudos to every member of the team.
