Farouk Lawan & Accomplice, Boniface Enemalo Remanded In Prison For $160,000 Bribery Allegation


Reports reaching me now has it that the lawmaker and former Chairman of the House of Representatives Adhoc Committee on Fuel Subsidy, Farouk Lawan and former Secretary of the committee Boniface Emenalo have been remanded in Kuje prison by an Abuja High Court pending the court’s ruling on their bail application.

You all will recall that the duo was accused of soliciting for and collecting a bribe of $620,000 from the Chairman of Zenon Oil, Femi Otedola, they were arraigned today on a seven count charge in which they both pleaded guilty to, but the case as been adjourned till February 8th 2013.
