Accoding to Ifactory, one of the the Executive producer of the "Omotola: The Real Me", the reality show is set to hit the Tv screen on DSTV channel 151 starting from the 6th of December and premiering a new episode every Thursday (18:30/21:00 CAT) for 13 weeks. Expect to see locations such as Lagos, London, Ghana, Miami and Kingston (Jamaica), where it was filmed.

              STRONG MAN OF KWARA POLITICS, DR OLUSOLA SARAKI IS DEAD





The former senate leader Dr Olusola Saraki died this morning in Lagos at his Ikoyi home in the early our of today, Wednesday 14th of November 2012 at the age 79. May his soul rest in peace.

Accepting the awards, the new father has this to say; "For those two awards I want to thank the coaches that voted me the best forward and to my colleagues who voted me the best player," Messi told reporters.

"It's a very big honour to be able to receive these awards. I won it last year too, it's a g reat satisfaction and an enormous joy."

Other winners are  Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas who was voted best goalkeeper ahead of Victor Valdes and Roberto Jimenez (Zaragoza), while Sergio Ramos beat Javier Mascherano and Javi Martinez to the title of best defender.
Xabi Alonso(Madrid) pipped Sergio Busquets(barcelona) and Benat (Betis) to win the best holding midfielder while Andres Iniesta(Barcelona) won the best attacking midfielder at the expense of Santi Cazorla(ex-malaga) and Mesut Ozil(Madrid).
For the coach of the year, the former Barcelona coach Josep Pep Guardiola beat Madrids Jose Mourinho to it while Carles puyol won the fair play award. The vote was cast by players and coaches in the first and second division of spains football league.

The screen goddess was unavoidably absence for the official Black, Entertainment, Film,Television,And Art (BEFFTA) award  that was held in London, but has this to say; “This is the best award I have received on a global level, it is such an honour and I’m truly humbled that 16 years of my work in the film industry has been rewarded in a special way internationally. There are so many people to thank for bringing me to this level, special thanks goes to my husband for always being there, everyone that I have worked with but most importantly my fans. I love my fans so much, they are very supportive“.
 The award was presented to Omotola by PR Executive Theodora Ibekwe at London’s leading film studios East End Studios. Omotola has become the first movie star to be awarded with the special BEFFTA honorary award in the film category, other high profile personalities who have received BEFFTA special awards this year include Sir Trevor McDonald OBE recipient of BEFFTA Lifetime Achievement Award.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde continues to prove that there is more to her than her curve-ridden figure as she emerges biggest box-office actress of the year.
The actress was recently honoured in the UK as the first-ever African BEFFTA (Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television and Arts) Film Icon for her contribution to the film industry in Africa, Europe and globally.
The year 2012 will be one in which the duo of Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and film maker Obi Emelonye won’t forget in a hurry as the duo grabbed the headlines in spectacular fashion judging by the quality of the kind of jobs they both did.
The movie, Last Flight to Abuja produced and directed by award winning Obi Emelonye first grabbed the headlines when it reportedly sold more than 8million in its first week at the cinema!

The premiere till date remains the biggest premiere of any movie with six packed halls, a record no premiere has beaten. UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN FEMALE STUDENT DRINKS BLEACH AFTER BOYFRIEND      JILTED HER

It was reported in Tribune newspaer today 9th of November 2012, that a female undergraduate student  of the unuversity of Ibadan, drank belach when her boyfriend jilted her, this is really pathetic. below is the report of Tribune News paper

Dumped by her boyfriend, a student of the University of Ibadan (UI),  drank bleach in anger.

The 100- Level student in the Faculty of Arts was said to have taken the solution, a product called Hypo, on Sunday when her lover, a student of the same university, told her it was over between them.

Students of the university are currently writing their second semester examination which began about two weeks ago and will be concluded by the end of this month.

Nigerian Tribune gathered from campus source that the lady was rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, to save her from dying.

It was learnt further that the news of a serious damage to her kidney had spread on the campus.

A singing sensation on campus was said to have quickly waxed a hip hop lyric entitled “Hypo Love” to teach other students, especially ladies, the morals of the incident.

A source within the university said the lady is now fit and back in school after the poison was flushed out of her system at the institution’s Jaja Clinic.

However, he could not confirm why the lady decided to take the bleach as investigation into the matter was still ongoing as of press time.

  

Thank goodness she is still alive, i sincerely hope this will serve as lesson to any one out there who might be thinking of doing the same thing......

              ELDEE'S TRIBE RECORD TERMINATE EVA ALORDIAH'S CONTRACT

        Just five month ago, information about Eva, the fast rising rap artist penning down her signature with Eldee's Tribe record hit Twitter, it was widely celebrated by all, but surprisingly, information reaching me now has it that the once sweet relationship between them has gone sour as Tribe record officially released a statement about Eva's the contract termination. Part of the statement reads, "Trybes Records and Eva Alordiah have agreed to terminate her recording contract effective immediately.

"Trybes Records’ vision is to discover and nurture the talents of our artists while operating with purpose, valuing relationships with our partners within the industry, and being persistent in creating and releasing quality music.

"Unfortunately, over the past 5 months, Eva’s vision has not aligned with ours and thus, both parties have agreed to separate.

"We wish Eva the best in her future endeavours and plan on continuing towards our goal of creating quality music for Nigeria and beyond."

                     GIRL DRUGGED AND RAPED BY MAN SHE MET ON FACEBOOK


                                                                                         She claims she met the man on Facebook and both arranged for a friendly date after one month of lovey dovey inbox messages.

The man picked her up in a Range rover car and drove to upmarket westlands for a drink. She decided to have red bull since that was their first time of meeting and didn’t want to leave a bad impression.

During their date, she excused herself and went to the loo, that was when the man drugged the red bull she was drinking.

The girl only remembers being drowsy and someone dragging her to the car. She was half awake but still weak when the man together with other assailants raped her repeatedly. She lost count of the number of times she was raped.

She only came back to her senses when good samaritans found her in Umoja 2, Kenya in a very bad state.

The girl said her vagina was sore and couldn’t walk properly.

She warns females to be very careful about the male friends they meet on Facebook as not all of them have good intentions.

UNILAG STUDENT ESCAPED RAPE BY JUMPING FROM THIRD FLOOR OF 1004 BUILDING

According to the News Agency Of NigeriaThe (NAN) a 21 Year Old University of Lagos student was “allegedly pushed down from the third floor of the multi-storey building in Lagos, following a disagreement with a man she met on the social network, Facebook” while the CSP Fayoade Adegoke, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bar Beach, Victoria Island where the incident was reported, confirms that in the official police report, the victim alleges that she jumped from the third floor to escape being raped.

The victim “sustained multiple injuries, including a pelvis fracture, and was undergoing surgery at the General Hospital, Marina, Lagos, on Tuesday.“

Here is an excerpt of her story from the NAN Report;

“She met the young man through the social media, barely a week before the Nov. 1 incident.
She told NAN that the 26-year-old man (names withheld) last Wednesday invited her to a night club in Apapa from where they ended up in his family home at 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos.
She noted that the young man had earlier talked about sex on phone prior to the outing but she told him she was menstruating.
The victim said that on getting to the house, the man tore her dress and tried to rape her.
According to the victim, the man thereafter pushed her down from the third floor of the building because she refused to have sex with him.
When contacted, the mother of the young man, who was at home on the night of the incident, however, told NAN that she was not aware of what happened, saying that she slept around 10 p.m., wile the disagreement between the couple started much later.
The mother, who pleaded anonymity, disclosed that she paid part of the hospital bill immediately after the victim was admitted, and even tried to transfer her to a private hospital.
“I took her as our own daughter and so, I can do anything that will make her recover quickly,” she added.
She insisted that her preliminary inquiry indicated that victim was not pushed by her son as alleged, but that she jumped on her own in the ensuing scuffle.
When contacted, CSP Fayoade Adegoke, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bar Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos, told NAN that the victim wrote in her statement to the police that she jumped on her own, in order to escape being raped.
Adegoke said that he ordered his men to convey the victim to the hospital immediately after he was informed of the incident by night security guards in the area.
The DPO said that the suspect was released on bail, pending further investigation into the matter.”

with each candidate needing 270 electoral vote to be declared winner, President Obama secured 303 electoral votes while Mitt Romney  secured 206.
